Meet Charles Wagner and Marina Crimson! They are young adults who fight against Izanami and her army of yokais and ghosts, and study them so they can be know to people.

They met each other several years ago, and went to a village in Japan thats said to be cursed by ghosts. It wasnt a hard task to keep the phantoms in control, until Izanami appeared. Luckily they were prepared when she arrived.

Canon stuff:

- Charles and Marina are the only known members of the Paranormal Research group. There is a chance that someone else is in there.

- They have several weapons at their dispossal, including those that can use danmaku and some kind of spell cards, the ammo is special energy dropped by these entities.

Interactions with other worlds:

- They have tools to fight other exes and all the ones from their story, unless stated otherwise.

- All members of Paranormal Research belong in the outside of canon interactions, unless stated otherwise.

- They are exe hunters, but they also think that all of the exes are related to Izanami in one way or another. Their goal is to eliminate all threatening beings and rescue the ones affected by them.

I finally made something with Izanami (And its a remake, lol). I made some changes with her. Izanami is still a japanese goddess of death.

The story before Izanami being locked down in the Yomi is still part of her story with this version. The year of the events of her story is undefined, only known to be set in Japan. I will enter in more details of the plot a bit later tho (hopefully not too late).

She gains the abilities to bring Yokais/Youkais to life with her powers as a goddess. Despite looking pretty different most of the time, they are pretty similar to the original versions. The ones made in this sketch thing are a Kappa, a Tsuchinoko and a Doom lost soul (I probably ran out of ideas for a lost spirit thing).

Izanami can also take control of other exes's victims and weaker exes, and even give them part of her powers as long as they are controled by her. They are limited to danmaku abilities, death power things(?) and whatever they had beforehand. Mainly, the victims cannot resurrect characters/people and neither create strong Yokais, limited to small phantoms as attacks (unless they resurrect could before).

Now, some extra stuff:

• Izanami speaks mainly Japanese, but was able to learn english after being free from her prision. Her english is not perfect, though.
• She can use danmaku, learned from the touhou games thanks to the information gathered by other yokais. She doesnt have full control of the monsters she creates/summons, except for phantoms and souls.
• For entities at her level or with similar goals, is not too hard to make her an exe's friend or ally.
• Her goal is just the death of humanity, she knows that she cannot kill Izanagi even if she wanted to, so she targets humans, the beings that Izanagi blessed. She won't torture humans unless they annoy her.
• She can use mental manipulation and make their targets blind for a few second, which is usually enough to attack them by surprise.

Despite this, i will share other details in the future, specially about the plot as a whole
